Zane The Chicken

Last night I was drug to the movie "The Conjuring" it was very disturbing to say the least. If you know anything about me, you would know how big of a chicken I am. I HATE scary movies. I think I spent most of the movie with my hands over my eyes and I still jumped like no other. The only good thing to come out of that movie, let me repeat myself the ONLY good thing to come out of that movie was that it got me thinking about what I truly do fear in life. Now O am a huge movie junky so whenever fear is mentioned I think of the Coach Carter speech. Have you ever stopped to really, I mean really look at wht that speech means. For me it was always just that happy dramatic turning point in the movie, but what I didn't realize at the time was how that speech can relate to everyone. And it does.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Our deepest fears are the hardest ones to over come, an if you are honest with yourself your deepest fear isn't heights, or snakes, or even failing. When you look your deepest fear face to face and smile, that's when your light begins to shine. I would like to hear from you guys wht some of your deepest fears are.
