Music Friday

I want to start incorporating some music into my blog. Music plays such a vital part in the molding of people's lives, I actually researched this topic and wrote a thesis on it in school. Music effects humans emotions, unfortunately suicides have been reported because of the effect of the music they were listening to. The plus side is that music can have the opposite effect. Have you ever been in a bad mood and all of a sudden your favorite song comes on? Next thing you know you're dancing and singing your little heart out. With that being said this is Dancing Like An Idiot's first Music Friday.

I want to start out with something light hearted, but yet at the same time heart felt. The whole idea of this song is how life seems to just beat you down and it never seams easy, but to realize that the goal in life isn't to make it as comfy as possible, the goal in life is to make your life after earth as comfy as possible. Steven Curtis Chapman brilliantly writes "but I know I'm gonna make it, I know I'm gonna get there soon...." If we stay faithful to our love with Christ we will get there, it is the long rough road but nevertheless the only one I would want to  take. So turn down the lights and tune out the world and get lost in Steven Curtis Chapman's ukulele.
